Hibernation

Concrete placement,
shudder against the wide.
Collapse slowly inside
crawl through to the shelter
of a private womb.

Abandon all sensation,
It seems perfect to pretend
that there is nothing beyond me.
I need this for sanity
in minute stature eclipsed by humanity.

A subdued restlessness a frantic paralyse,
a still eye a closed mouth.
Turn forever to the other side,
secure in bondage shell; nest
of hibernation.

BrianM~
Welcome to our Passion's family.
I greatly enjoyed your first post.

'Collapse slowly inside
crawl through to the shelter
of a private womb.

Great thought !

The 'polar bear' in me loves hibernation.
I call it my Vision Quest ...
snug in my cave I write from the heart,
awakening thoughts that hibernate within me.

Enjoy your stay.  You're gonna like it here.

~ Brian~
This one you write is truly one of a kind
Makes one think of dreams in the nite
When the wings of our mind
And the echoes from our heart
Open doorways to find
Peacefulness and an excitement so sublime.
This was indeed a great reading for me!

Welcome to Passions, Brian! Great poem! I've always wished we could hibernate like some of the animals do. Something just seems so restful and peaceful about it. Please check your e-mail for a special welcome!
