up till midnight with nothing to do
held in this world I made just for you
remember the times we said we'd keep
remember the sorrows we'll have to reap
close your eyes and set me free
you can't contain a restless sea
let me free to live and die
let me go to sink or fly
release your grip and walk away
wait for me to come back some day
for I'll return to be with you
with out force, just something I'll do
so close your eyes and dream of me
cause I'll return forever to thee

"There were times in my life
when I was going insane
tryin to walk through
the pain
when I lost my grip
and I hit the floor
yeah I thought I could leave but couldn't get out the door" - Aerosmith "Amazing"

Pandora said exactly what I wanted to say.  Shoot!  Your line 'you can't contain a restless sea' stood out as the best line of a great poem.

I agree with the others on the favorite line. This is a softer side of your work I'm seeing again for the first time in a while.   I love it.
