Godís angels sprinkle stardust sight unseen By grownup eyes, dispelling all darkís fear Babes sleep in perfect innocence serene Without a single care to cause a tear. The fairies dance about in little heads Creating magic all throughout the night As tiny tots are sleeping in their beds And cuddling with their teddy bears so tight. The moonbeams dance and constellations sing A soothing lullaby as elves slide down A candy rainbow, colors glittering; Enchanted dreamland chases every frown.
So close your eyes and hush my precious one The fun begins again at setting sun.
Hi D~ Ah yes, if only all babies could sleep peacefully through the night, there would be a lot less stressed out people in the world! Don't you love to see a little baby yawn? And hear the little noises when they drink their bottles? Anyway, I liked your poem. best regards, bboog
Thank you, Melissa, Sudhir, Bob (that would be great, wishful thinking at best!), Janet Marie, Marge, Martie, Sue, Rebecca (yes, it went extremely well! He went to sleep at 6:30 p.m. and slept 'til 6:30 a.m. and he wasn't fussy at all with his teething all day either!), Romantic Heart, Danny and Balladeer (they do make my heart smile!) for reading and for your kind replies!
