The Right Moment

I see you from a distance
wondering if you noticed me...
wanting you to ease my pain,
to make it go away...

slowly you get off your chair
starting to approach me...
your eyes wide with amazement,
your dying smile.

I stand up
you're almost here...
you open you arms,
but walk right by.

I turned
hoping no one else was there.
But there she was,
a walking image of beauty...that i'll never be.

I'm internally dying for you.
your love, your comfort
to ease my pain...
to make me feel like I am worth something...

I sit down.
closing my eyes...
wondering what it would be like,
to have you love me.....

Tia,

First let me say Welcome to our little family.

Second....you have written your heart well in this piece. I can feel your pain. Know it all too well.

Hope to see more of your work soon.

All my love,
Jeffrey

Tia,
Welcome to our family!  Very good poem, dear!  Very touching and deeply heartfelt.  Keep writing straight from your heart -- it will always be your greatest inspiration!

Tia - Welcome to Passions!
This is a lovely piece of writing and I agree with the other's comments that you should continue to write from your heart - well done

Reminded me of an old saying, "Don’t put yourself in parenthesis…give a chapter all to yourself"
