He bought a swing for two,
Placed it in his grassy garden,
Where the grass was greener,
Upon every evening, there he would meet her,

Into the swing they would sit,
Laughing, romancing, touching,
Enchanted moments treasured,
A true loves' lament,

For they both loved the outdoors,
The lovely flower gardens,
Traveling shore to shore,
Always wanting to share more and more,

Every night he would go inside alone,
Glance back at the swing with one look,
Think of her, the way she looked,
For this was his home,

She was far away,
But within his mind,
Her memory cannot fade,
For when he looks beneath the shade,
Thoughts of a love so true....

Upon every glance of his " Love Swing Built For Two"

RomanticHeart~

You would have no way of knowing it, but this touched my heart with the fondest memories of my mother.

My dad built her a swing-for-two. Where they sat every evening listening to the birds and watching the sun set.

She passed away five years ago ... he tenderly takes care of the swing and says he can feel her most in the garden swing.

Thank you ... I'll print it and give it to him on Mother's Day.
He'll cry ... but so will I.

From the bottom of my heart ... I thank you.

A soft and tender message...I can remember the big swing on my grandmothers front porch when I was a small boy...me and my brothers and sisters loved to play in that swing.  James
