What color is love
If it's not the wine of your smile?
What shape is love
If it's not the heart of your heart on mine?
How does love feel
If it's not your touch,
Your smile upon my face?
How does love sound
If it's not my body rolling
In the gentleness of your words?
What does love look like
If it's not the warmth of your heart,
The heart of your love?
What does love say to lovers
If not "I love you"?
What is love
If not you and me?

Well, someone has a tender heart.
This was enchanting to read.
Thanks for sharing it.

Tuck* I really enjoyed the way this was put together with question and answer form, Great style, a timeless subject and it seems to me that a very sensitive and caring heart composed this...a combination that is awesome!!

 Hold me for yesterday
Kiss me for tomorrow
But love me for today.

Will gladly reap what we may sow--
I am there for you ...
and you're there for me ...
Are you waiting for

Tuck,

Thanks for welcoming me to Passions.  After reading this poem I think we're kindred spirits.
