Ping Pong Poems
(This is the challenge, folks:  add to it, stem off of it, anything to keep it going for awhile or until the moderators get sick and tired of it and lock it off...that last one went a little wacky - however, you will notice that I started it off normally...)

This ding-dong ping-pong
that everyone should reverie
is something I’ma doing
just for our friend ESP.

I’ll get the “ball” started,
just to see where it goes;
Heaven only help us
for anything can go, we know…

So for our little ESP
here is the very first round…
anxiously awaiting to see
if it gets dropped to the ground…

Can't let this little ping pong drop
And so I'll send it back up top
Can't let our little Lizzie down
I'd never want to see her frown

So come on poets, please join in
Let's cause a little Lizzie grin
Just add a verse or two or three
And join us in this ping pong spree!

eaten with milk, how else?

If its a game of poetry...
I wanna play...
you know Im addicted to poetry..
and addicted I will stay.
You say ping and I say Pong...
as long as it rhymes...
we all get along.
you see I suffer from a poets curse...
everything I say comes out in rhyme and verse...

Oh, no it has to rhyme?
I am in trouble now
when it comes to times for rhymes
I am just a purple cow

This pong and ping
is just the thing
but a subject it is lacking

SO HERE IT GOES LOLs

Free verse quite lovely is just fine
Not everything that's written rhymes (see?)
But lacking theme?...that will not do
Let silliness reign through and through
Perhaps a topic will appear
When hearts are lightened, filled with cheer
One never knows what may be found
When souls are lifted off the ground!

I serve ... you volley back to me,
   I cannot keep the pace;
For always it is difficult
   To stay amongst the race.

Just lob it to me gently now,
   I can't return a "slam",
So take it easy, slow and sure,
We'll try to find a plan.

To a friend in ping pong
I would only softly hit
while sweetly singing a silly song
so that he will laugh and miss --)

The words to this silly song
that everyone shall sing
will be sang with
a mouth full of ding dongs
those chocolate fattening things

You may think I am silly
For what I have to ask you....
Ok.*deep breath* 'What is it
That you want me to do?'

My eyes popped out of my head when  I saw this topic!! So, I must just add to it? Hmm.
Well, before I do, thank you Sunshine for this unexpected treat!!

But I don't doubt that amid such talent,
Instead of missing, he will swing and
I will find it back to me is sent.

So this ball will go back and forth
To all poets south, east, west or north.
Until one day when the ball is broke
And cannot take another stroke.

Until then friends around the world,
Everywhere let this ball be hurled!!

Love and hugs to all!
Thanks Sunshine!

This ball of friendship
I do make - a ping pong
ball that can't be broke
'round, 'round the poetic
world it doth spin
bouncing from one precious
friend 'til it never ends

I tried my hand at Ping-Pong once,
Swore I'd never play again,
My opponent challenged, "On my knees,
I'll play you -- and I'll win!"

It must be true, there's no greater fool
Than the aggrogant cocky kind -
His games were hundreds to my one,
But the victory was mine.

When I was a child,
I preferred a yo-yo,
I was a curious child,
So I tried ping-pong!

My first try was a failure
The ball just went around,
My friends tried to set a lure,
The ping kept ponging me round,
Away I wanted to go-go,
Ping-pong for me was a no-no.

Ping-pong they play a lot at Hong-kong
When I was a child, I liked King Kong,
Now when I am older, I write a few songs,
About all that is right and all that are wrong.

Take each day as it comes,
Consider each day as a flight,
Try hard to succeed and fly,
Surely then you will reach some height.

But if by some chance you don’t,
Remember that tomorrow will always come.
Learn this well and learn this hard
That today’s efforts will pay for tomorrow’s fun.

Cannot help but laughingly wonder
if a drop of the ball would render asunder
this silly little game we've begun
just because of "silly Sun"

So - I'ma pinging this pong back up to the top
and hoping that it won't stop
and hey, a "subject" that we're missing...
well, let's just change it to a theme of kissing...

too riske', you think, this subject matter?
Heck, I bet it would provide great laughter...

I kiss my kids, my cat, my dog...
I kiss and kiss, till my lips turn blue...
Ive kissed while dancing...
and while singing a song...

I've kissed my dog, I've kissed my cat
I've kissed some guys who were 'all that'
I've kissed my mom and kissed my dad
I've kissed when happy, kissed when sad
I've kissed my daughters, grandkids too
It seems I've kissed my whole life through
No wonder that my lips are sore
I need more Chap Stick from the store!

Thanks for starting this silliness, Sunshine! It's fun!

Kissing is so warm and sweet,
Much better than a chocolate treat,
I kiss relatives and friends and babies,
But the best kiss, and there is no maybe,
Is a lover's kiss, be spouse or not,
That kind of love makes kisses hot!!!

I've been kissed...here...there...
why, a little bit of everywhere...
some I like more than most...
I've even been kissed from coast to coast...

but in lieu of kiss, I'd take a hug
now changing theme, I've pulled the rug
out from under before the guys get home
and from Passions, we'd have to roam...

because can't you see just where this would go?
and we'd have to rename it "The Traveling Salivation Show..."

And then there was Gump
Who made the ball jump
Two paddles to a hand
No opponent could stand
In the way of his might

That white ball would fly
Just a blur to the eye
Soaring 'cross the net
As bookies placed bets
All through the night

That Gump went far
Showed Johnson his scar
Whipped up on a Chinese
Playing pong with ease
That dude was alright!

oh my such clever poets
and most of you darn well
know it

Everytime we start a ping pong
thing it somehow turns into a
slightly adult theme

Well, long as y'all keep it clean
I sure in the heck don't mind talkin'
'bout kissin'

kiss me quick, kiss my lips until they swell
but whatever you do, don't kiss and tell

so whats the theme now....
Im confused...
this game of ping pong--
keeps me amused.
we were talking about kissing,
but it got to hot...
Sunshine wants to talk about hugs
but hugs lead to kisses...do they not?
I guess our poetic minds get in the gutter...
all this talk of kissing ...
makes me stutter.
But after all...
this is PASSIONS you know...
if you want romance and fire..
its the place to go.
So tell me now what to write,
Ping or pong...whats your pleasure
other wise Im gonna start kissing again...
ahh poetic lips I do so treasure

Well, hugs, it seems, are very nice
They are the best to break the ice
A gentle one or fierce bear hug
Will put a smile on my  mug
No matter how my day has gone
Its magic on my face is drawn
And will, of course, lead to a kiss
That tender sign of heart felt bliss!

So Swan ya wanna talk art..
well, I have a Monet of which I'd never part.
Actually I have more than one or two,
in truth I have quite a few.
I love to look at them hanging on the wall.
I have them diplayed framed and all.
I also have some Degas and Van Goghs
they are so lovely dont ya know.
But I dont why Mona's brows are missing...
maybe its due to TOO MUCH KISSING...
OH dear here I go again...
I TRIED TO BE GOOD...and not sin...
but kissing seems to be on my mind...
Im looking for willing lips to find.
I better stop here and PING OFF THIS PONG...
If I keep talking about kissing...
Suns not gonna let me play along  LOL

We are clever, aren't we not?
Kissing is again in the number one spot.
A hug for some would clearly do,
yet I cannot refrain a few...

so have at it, bring it on
'tis a subject matter I would spawn,
or is it "spoon"? well, rhymes with moon...
bet we can't keep this going 'till June!

But be sweet, remember the golden rules...
Ron won't forgive any May Fools...
keep it clean, neat and short,
as the ball volleys back into your court.

Ping it back across the table
not quite sure if I am able
Played way back when just a calf
almost broke the ball in half !

Moose are not athletic types
but I'll try a couple swipes
If you don't mind it could be fun
so I'll join in on what's begun

The ball it arcs so cleverly
which way it goes I'd like to see
It's hard to tell where next it lands
can someone here lend me a hand ?

I heard a challange
awhile ago
that you couldn't ping pong
and kiss, ya know

but I did play
this game one time
and let me say
it was not sublime

In the wrist action
of a great slam dunk
I ended up
hearing a thunk

and when I saw
what was displayed
in the mouth of opponant
I was dismayed

The ball kissed his mouth
then in solid play
was stuck between his teeth
and there did stay

and that's what I call
a kiss 'n play!

I watch the ping pong go back and forth
And it has sent me into quite a tizzy
Which way is it headed? south? north?
Time to slam it back, cant let down lizzie

Oh no! the ball has hit the net
This game has made me quite the fool
Maybe over this mishap I shouldnt fret
And just go back to ping pong school

I pick the ball up and start again
I serve hard, who will hit it back?
I know not, but I'll be ready with my pen
Awaiting another ping pong attack

I'm not kissing anyone
But everyone knows
That daydreams can be fun!!!

Well, I'm off the subject now
This is hard to handle
After all, there aren't many bugs
That can hold a ping-pong paddle!

So, as hard as a little bug can
I give this ball a *whack*
I can only sit and wonder
Who will send it back?

You can think of besides ping pong
Kiss me here and kiss me there,
dangerous kissing, you should beware

like this game we call ping and pong
back and forth the play is called
the faster you play, the harder it gets
too much kissing just ends naked

well, look whats happened to this game
its all gone naked, shame shame shame
see what kissing can go and do,
Its ping and pong the whole night through.

and your right..not too many BUGS can play along...
So are you a ladybug or a lovely butterfly,
I just love a happy bug...fluttering by..
Have you ever heard of butterfly kisses...
those are the ones for which my lips wishes...
and I see sweet Parker has come to play...
a kiss from Parker would make any lady poets day.
His poems of romance make us all swoon...
he writes of kisses under the blue moon...
Im getting all flushed just from reading your verse...
all this talk of kissing is making it worse..
BUT we promised Sun we would keep it clean...
dont wanna get this locked...if ya know what I mean...
So before we turn  Lizzie's cheeks all red...
Ill serve back this ball and well play PING PONG instead...

PING PONG... in the Nude?
could be funny...
could be lewd.
Might be hard...
to keep an eye on the ball...
with so many distractions...
and all.
I think there are better games to play in the buff..
I think I better change the subject...
though its tuff...
So what should we ping and pong about...
who wants to play...
Im sure there's willing poets here...no doubt

I have watched this ball
Whizz back and forth.
I watched it go south
And I watched it go north.
It's seen too much for it's young eyes,
Slightly deformed from all the heat.
Then it cooled down and now my turn
For it has landed at my feet.

Passions poets live up to their name,
At the word "kiss" so much poetry to them came...
Their pens fly and, though not their aim,
The Passionate forums go up in flames!

How much longer do we have
Until the shouts of moderators boom?
What the chances of our Ping Pong
Lasting all through June?

Well, I wonder who will take the ball now,
A maniac who dreams of being a purple cow?
Nah, Passions people are all sane,
Let not this Ping Pong wane.

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

and get turned all 'round
would somebody please get the rebound?

I wonder who will be next to serve

well since we are all getting rather
a "glow" from all this ping pong, ya know
we get to talk about a nose.
my sister ferments the room
with too much tea rose

I seldom wear a dab of anything,
but have a ton of scents for the mood
I find myself in -- jasmine - lilac
or musk any kind of wild woodsy touch

white shoulders smells so good
but only a tiny dab will do
My mother's favorite
is tabu

Ah the smell of woods upon a man
and calloused hands will turn my limbs
into sinking sand

OPPs, sorry sunshine got carried
away with scents today
So now that we smell so good
back to ping pong -----that's what we'll
do ----I THINK

PING

I found this drifting towards page three...
doesnt anyone wanna play ping pong with SWAN and me?

We were talking about our favorite smells...
those ones that make us feel like passionate yells...
but there is so much more to the pleasures or scent....
I remember when I didnt know what Olfactory Senses meant(LOL)
Aromatherapy is SO COOL...
it can be a wonderful relaxation tool
nothing delights me more...
than to smell Lilacs, Jasmine, while still indoors.
Burning candles and insence is so romantic and nice...
love the smells of peaches, vanilla, and cinnamon spice.
Tell me what scents turn you on..,
Play this game of smelly PING PONG.

JM it has been a lot of fun
talking to you in this way
getting to know you as we play
Maybe everyone else is in the sun?

Sundays I find
are not days for rhyme
families come a 'visitin'
and I find I don't have time

No olfactory senses --hehe
once a dr. asked me had I a bm
and I answered no, have you?
Of what he asked, I had no clue
but bravely took what I thought was my cue

Scents, ping pong -- and kissing, too
tonight I have the empty nest blues
but going to be a grandma in June

I cannot believe how fast time flies
wasn't it yesterday they were just five
where oh where has the time gone
probably while we were writing songs

ping pong is fun to play
looks like it just might stay
who will be next to serve
I can't seem to find the ball
oops there it is stuck with Gum
on the WALL?

but Im so excited to hear about the new grand baby!!!!
I love the smell of a baby after a bath...
its my most favorite scent.
and I know what you mean, wondering where the time went.
Soon your life is gonna be filled with grandparental JOY!!
Tell me do they know if its a girl or boy?
Well maybe we can keep this going for SUN & Lizzie all the way till June...
but I hope we dont run out of rhymes to keep up this

Thanks to Janet Marie and Netswan,
Poetry Ping Pong shall go on!
So now our topic has seen alteration,
No longer is kissing the infatuation!

Scents and perfumes is the new Ping,
How much longer till a new Pong?
Let's keep going with this game,
Keep Passions Poets singing their song!

PING!! OR IS IT PONG!!! KEEP GOING!!

Used to be a ping,
or maybe it was a pong,
Maybe it was a hug or a kiss,
One which I did actually miss.

I thought it was a ping-pong,
Or maybe I got is all so wrong,
Gosh! How I feel about the miss,
Who stands there, but doesn't blow me a kiss!

Well, sitting here and hoping for a hug,
Will make me neither rich nor smart,
But yearning for that elusive hug,
Painting that kiss is but an forbidden art...

Keep it going
pinging and ponging!

sudhir

You each amaze me ... every one,
   For never have I found,
A group of people oh so sweet,
   Where sentiments a'bound.

Each poem is like a lovely game,
   They're posted here with care,
Where anxiously the writer waits
To hear back from their peers.

And lucky are the ones who find
   Such interested souls,
To volley back their comments with
   Kind sentiments two-fold.

Ok folks, now what's the score?
What shall we speak of now?
Shall it be love or hate,
Or simply purple cows?

Come on poets, you decide
What you would like to sing.
Then we'll keep this game in action...
Who will take this *PING*!

Love and hugs,

The crux of the matter is its core,
Love or hate, is a matter of opinion,
Talk we will, ofcourse, of life's score,
Tied to one's fate like a pinion.

Will it be cows, or will there be vows,
Exchanged on the wedding day,
Will they be purple, pink or scarlet fantasy crows,
Each day a new page, more light, another ray.

While one debates on whether to ping
or whether to pong or to kiss or hug,
I will like to find something
as cosy as my dear soft rug...

I can hear the poet's call
sudhir -- here's a warm cozy hug
much more snug then your rug

ESP - would send you candy,
but you are already sweet
and your poetry is such a treat

And, now Kit has joined our
ping pong game
and is on the way to ping pong fame

Oh can't forget sunshine and Janet Marie
as they pass the ping pong -
back and forth -- guess this time
it landed on me

This game of ping-pong has gotten kinda crazy
I am sorry I'm only joining now...I been so busy...its not that I'm lazy (LOL)
Im sorta clumsy and never been too good at sports, unless its the sport of love
But gosh darn it, everytime I swing the paddle I barely make the net
I know I am suppose to try harder and hit it above
As I was reading this little game of ping pong, i saw a lot of mention of kissing
Did I really see it...or is it more like hopeful wishing (lol)
Well yeah i finally hit the ball and sent it to the other side
I bet ESP is really happy now...her smile she can not hide

Is this ping or pong? lol

ping and pong...
new friends came to play along.
And in their rhymes they all ask for a kiss!!
It makes my poetic lips smile...let me tell you this.
See Lizzie & SUN...
Im not the only one..(LOL)
There is nothing more romantic than a tender kiss...
its the one thing I surely miss...
right now my muse is mad at me...
shes no where that I can see.
so I'll play ping pong to keep in line
and hope she'll come back soon ,feeling fine
and you cant bet when she returns...
Im gonna KISS her till ME LIPS DO BURN!!!!

While janet is off kissing....i am busy hopefully wishing
oh what's thatyou say... were suppose to be playing the ping pong game
i think i just heard someone call my name
I told you I am not very good at this sport, ahhh but i will try anyway
maybe if i hit it hard enough, i can send it the other way
so one two three, here i go...and i hit it with all my might
and whatdya know there goes the ball sailing in flight
so now for sure the game has continued, the ball has yet to touch the ground
and so yet we begin another game of ping pong, another interesting round

PING!!

well what do you know, i hit the ball back to myself
i told you i can't play...and that i really do need help lol
but while i got the ball i'd like to take a minute or two
to tell you how much fun it is to play ping pon with the likes of all of you
i know there is no suject that anyone has picked out
unless its the subject of kissing, that's janet's thing....THAT THERE IS NO DOUBT
well i guess it's time for me to serve and hit this ball in the air
Yes I can hit the ball, I'm not that clumsy yet you all still stare (hehe)
I am really having fun now sending out this rhyme
We gotta keep this going, before we run out of time
you know the moderators are gonna get tired, and this is gonna get tossed soon
i only hope we can make it to perhaps early june
so here i hit the ball and serve it to someone else...i can hear someone hissing
or is that janet off performing her favorite sport...the art of romantic kissing?

*sorry i know it was bad rhyming lol*

Moderators, oh Moderators beware,
this ping-ponged ball is going somewhere;
it goes north, south, east, west,
where it lands is anyone's guess...

some of us are romantically strung,
and others of us have yet to begun
a simple stream of poetry,
where are the other players? for the life of me

I cannot guess where Marge does sit,
nor Sharon, she's due for a hit...
now 'Deer, c'mon be a sport,
and LJA, dock that ship at port

and come one, come all to watch and view
this Ping Pong show, it's just for YOU!

still no topic to this ping pong game i see
hm..let me think what could a topic be.
We could do the usual poetry
about hurt and pain
but i myself have had enough of that
to make me go insane.
wait a minute
i'll be right back.
I hear the ice cream truck
and think it's time for a small snack.
pop goes the weasel
is the song the truck plays
as i sit waiting in line
for an icecream on the first hot summer day.
Kids are running from every where.
deciding what kind of ice cream they want
smiling so free with out a care.
counting their change
doing the math.
i guarantee when they are done
they'll all need a bath.
Quarters, Nikels and dimes galore
There will be no change to spare
They have no money left
and only pocket lint to share.

Been watching this game with such delight
I guess its my turn to hit, now isn't that a fright
So now icecream is the topic of choice I see
What kinds of icecream do u all like..my favorites are vanailla and strawberry
Icecream hits the spot on a hot summers day
Sorry back to the ping pong game, I didn't mean to stray
We've been pinging this pong for a few days and all seems well
Playing this game with all of you makes me feel swell
So sending this ball back over the net
A clever rhyme is going to come from this horrible one I'll bet (lol)

I love to eat them in a cone...how about YOU?
I lick and smack untill my lips are frozen in BLISS...

Oh, my, I took a break
from this frantic ping pong game
and see we have a new joiner
and amy is her name

I see JM is now a smacking her sassy lips
for into that cold ice cream she has dipped
banana split is my dream with cream whipped

I had this banana split in mind
topped with a cherry so fine
when the ping pong ball did
land in my dish with a mighty plop
now my face is filled with whipped cream blop

hey thats kind of kinky!!
and you know I like the sound of that...
*winkie-winkie*
But before my mind wanders...
trying to keep it clean,
I ping this pong back up to top...
and I eat some more ice cream.
I should be sleeping now...
I was up looking for my muse...
shes over there flirting with parker
talking about a romantic cruise..
maybe on the LOVE BOAT she should go...
I think the break would do her good...
romance is so good for inspiration, this I know.
Well its bed time now...so off to dream am I..
Ill serve this ball off again...
and well see who else stops by

So many poets,
so many people,
Some did a ping-pong duet,
Others mused a trifle.

I watched from afar,
Sometimes got myself dragged into it,
If I had to store the ping in a car,
I would have had to struggle with it.

Mind does what mind thinks,
Often of troubles, kisses, and tales of heart,
For once clear of the bothers and winks,
We even talk about ping-pong and art.

Whoever thought the game was for two or four,
This game is for even more,
Each one here has gained a score,
The crux of the matter is the core as I said before.

When I look at the count so far,
After having seen this topic thus far,
I am score number sixty-six,
To become a beast, all I need is another six.

Love, hugs, kisses and crushes,
Relations, caring, friedly gestures,
Oh dear! How the vagrant mind rushes,
Making ever so frequent overtures.

A passing meadow, plush with green grass,
What a beautiful sight in the blooming of spring,
I rush out to the fields, a gentle caress,
The bumble bees collect themselves and sing.

A summer song, it was so pleasant,
I wandered out and stopped bothering,
I came back and saw work as a tyrant,
Till I decided that I would have a go at ping.

And start eating ice cream!
Chocolate and Vanilla swirl for me,
I know it'll taste like a dream!

Moderators will go insane I fear,
This is thread is lasting so long.
Now be nice Moderators, dears...
Let Passions Poets keep on with their song!

June is only twenty one days away,
Will this Ping Pong last?
Come on all you poets out there,
Give the ball a blast!!

nor ice cream -- just want to play
ping pong and sing some songs
does anyone want to sing along?

Shall we not reach a hundred replies
With this thread of Ping Pong?
I am giving this lil ball
A huge whopping big Bong!

To a Passions Poet
Who wants to continue
Singing this silly song,
If ya don't, me "BOO HOO"!

Come poets, far and near,
Try your hand at this game.
Everybody, whatever age or stage,
Young boy or old dame!

If I was a ball
I'd go Ping, Pong, Ping, Pong.
But since I'm a poet,
I'll go swish, and hit!

C'mon guys, keep this going!

Love and hugs,

Well, ok then, what should I do
Let it pass me by? No way, I catched it with my shoe.
Ping Pong sounds just like a song
A song where everybody does belong
No one is left out, lets play
Ping Pong it's for love, that's what I say
I find it only fair
Cause who want's to be a millionear
The ball is like a dancer
And that's my final answer
The Ping and Pong is on the move again
It bounces here and there and then
Catch it if you can

They're too sweet to lock our game of PING PONG so dear.
Why dont we invite them all to play along.
Then they will sing our ping pong song.
Michael and Nan can be on the same team.
Balladeer and Hoot will can challenge their winning dream.
Wonder which team will score the most,
wonder if they even read this long darn post.
Sun and Lizzie can play the winners...
I gotta go and cook my kids dinners.

Is there anyone who has a minute free?
A minute to whack the ball and help us out

Sunshine she's a beaming-in
look at her, with that grin,
some ping-pong game she did begin
all to keep ESP from a'cryin'

now there's been hugs and lots of kisses
seems like ping pong gets hits and misses
there've been songs and some ice cream
I'm surprises there's been no jelly beans

lots of rhymes all the time
from old and young and of all sorts
but more must play if we're to go till June
I guess they're all out looking for ping-pong shorts

Me, I can play in my birthday suit...
but no videos, please, I'm not that cute.

I'm unemployed but seeking work;
The checks will soon run out;
I'd like to work for some non-jerk
Who'd never make me pout.

I'd love to write some poetry
That job would seem like play
I may be barking up a tree
To write, receiving pay.

Well, I can still dream, can't I?

ok I will give this a try...
do my best or in the effort die..
but does this really have to rhyme
you see I have little rhythm
and can't keep time,
ow this is badly improvised, a poetic crime. Change the subject, ping pong
shadows of my mind converge,
gouging through the spheres of dreams
rolling in penance perplexed static
and dull of any reflex.
petals upon my mouth aware of other whispers
presence upon skin flesh to break and freedom drains.... weird? what isn't this how everyone one plays ping pong...
aw I really screwed up
SORRY I dropped the ball ping pong.

Brian I dont have clue about the words you just wrote...
but I sure like the way they sound!!
Dont worry I caught the ball...
this ping never hit the ground...
so tell me more about...
those rose petal in your mouth...
that sounds mighy nice to me
Looks like my mind is again headed south (LOL)
I love to talk about mouths, lips, and kissing.
Its my favorite past time...
sweet lips on mine is what Im missing
Lizzie and Sun know my it my passion...
they know its my sweet addiction
next to always rhyming --
its my biggest affliction
But I promised to try to keep it clean...
this little game of ping pong...
but Sun is up above playing in her BIRTHDAY SUIT...
so Im bringing my lips along!!

PING!- The day has begun
PONG!- A war was just won
PING!- A dad speaks to his son
PONG!- This is pretty fun
PING!- Like a bullet from a gun
PONG!- I'll ride into the sun
PING!- From the tides shall I run
PONG!- I'll have turkey on a bun
PING!- I guess I, with this poem, I'm done
PONG!- No more of it will I have spun

I honestly don't know where I come up with stuff.

Awww...the ping Pong ball has slipped,
I found it way down on page two.
I'll hit it straight back to one,
But if no one recieves, what to do?

Keep hitting, swishing, smacking,
Give the ball your bestest shot!
And your reward shall of course be
Janet Marie's lip's, nice and hot!

So hit this ball,
Give it your all!

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

A ping and a pong...
hOW long will it go on
I cant remember what was the last verse
all this rhyming is a curse
Why do I always need to rhyme
do i have to do it everytime
others write and they dont rhyme...
no not me..ending rhyme on each line.
I think I have a rhyming addiction
its becoming quite an affliction.
I do it even when on the phone talking
even when Im out with the dog walking
my friends think I ve gone quite mad
this rhyming illness is pretty bad
so I'll stop here now and say...
to all you moms...
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!

So Ping-pong continues
Much to everyone's dismay.
I can hear people saying
"Please let it end today"

I think Passions poets
Seem to have had their fill,
Of Ping Pong Poetry
And this thread they want to kill.

Worry not, all poets around,
For I have a solution found.

I hereby say challenge over,
Though close we came.
Before the target we must end,
What a shame.

But never mind, never fear.
There will be more challenges in here.

Before I leave this topic
For the last time.
I have one more thing
To say in rhyme.

Thank you to all who added a bit,
You all gave me many smiles.
Everyone who paid this thread a visit,
Have made Sunshine's effort worthwhile.

Sunshine started a challenge small,
Small like the first brick of a wall.
Many poets upon this brick have built,
Now the poetry wall has been given the jilt.

So thank you everyone for the fun,
And thank you for starting it up, Sun!!

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

his wife said to ping your sure to be lucky
pong moaped around and felt like a jerk
but Dale got lucky ‘cause
of her little paddle work
now he never has to worry
and if the... e’er becomes a flurry
she runs and gets her paddle
and swats him in a hurry.

I am not very good at sports
really more a spectator
but I will attempt to keep
pace in this insane poetry Theatre
I am a bit sleepy
and it is only six
I am not sure if my brain
can cope with this poetry fix.
I am almost off of breathe
I can't keep up I must confess,
Oh this ping pong, what destress,
will not do at all.
I can't stay on the ball, I am slipping,
I have run out of words, oh I think I might fall...

ping pong.

I'm back again for one last *whack*
It's been awhile, but now I'm back
Everyone had better join in soon
If we want this game to last till June

There's lots of talent here, I know
So poets everywhere, give us a show
Write a line in rhyme, or two
It's not like you have anything else to do!

Ping or Pong? I dunno!< !signature-->

Well, I've not done this before.
Found this hiding on page # 4.

I don't PING
and I don't PONG
but couldn't let this happy song
just lay here without a waddle
so I'll flip it back with my paddle.
Of days left to play
there aren't many
June is the deadline ...
so if there are any
champions with something
else to say ...
look the ball just bounced your way !

*Just for Lil' Lizzie .. who should be home soon from her weekend trip.

Bounce my way it sure did do
It pinged so fast it hit my shoe
Bounced of that and hit my chin
While you were watching with a grin

I waddled that paddle high and low
Just to, ugh! get it, ugh! to go!
I finally hit it I must say
So now it's heading down your way

Today I pinged,
and then I ponged.
While doing this to a silly song.
Uptown, downtown
pinging and ponging.
Looks I got,
while hot dogin'.
Didn't bother me,
I looked right back!
Gave them a hidy,
and then a ho.
Before I knew it,
a line did grow.
Pingers and pongers
Dingers and dongers,
Joined right in
on my silly songers.(????)

It all started off two days upfront in May,
I just realised there are just two days till end of May,
For our dear friend from passions, ESP, it was started, tis true,
But many contributed, many surprises this strange game of ping-pong threw...

Moving from topic to topic, more than one hand could pick,
From kisses, to hugs, to dancing in birthday suit,
From nicking, to spinning, to swinging a good shot,
A ping-pong game that has gone across 99 steps.

While I wonder, what goes on all over here,
I looked a bit here and a bit there,
While this game goes on to  June,
I am waiting for high noon...

I am neither a cowboy, nor a hero,
Lets face it, I am a huge zero,
Waiting for high noon, thats natural, me reckons,
Lunchtime lulls me, to get me stuffed, it beckons...

So till the next PING, I PONG !!!!!!

 Life is like a painting,
That in an art gallery is left hanging,
Though many come just to look at it,
A very few actually come to enjoy it.

Pinging and ponging
is what I do best
the dinging and donging
I'll leave for the rest
so ping me that ball
nice and steady
here is my call
now, are you ready?
I'll pong it back
hard and fast
BOOM! BANG! SMACK!
This is a blast!

Thanks everyone!

Yay, this is going good
And, in just two days, is June
But the only sad part is
That this is ending so soon!

Dare we take this final plunge
To make it into July?
Or will we make Lil' Lizzie's
Great topic just die???

well here I go again
no idea what I am going
think I am a roll or is
it a nose bleed. catching smiles
in your eyes, I reverse to find life
in a backward loop, meet myself coming around
now i am really confused......aw I made a mess. Someone ban me from the ping pong table. Scrabble anyone? a word play,
stuck in trouble gum.
Spoon feed me joy and hang misery about yourself decorate in the new style same as last night yesterdays the future....and I can not see when standing on my head petal for tongues. mouths empty wide in the valleys of the breast there is a table... where all of life is put to the test and the great minds ponder faith over a game
of ping pong.

Look at all the Ping Pong Balls
flying hither, tither, smashing off walls
Soon June will come, as will a moderator
saying to all "see you later, 'gator"

but one more swak for ESP

Well, I am sorry that i have waited
I do regret that I hesitated,
but I have found this fun, fun game
and I shall never view it as the same
with a simple pong and a resounding ping
this little song, this crazy thing
will once more be flung to the other poets here
to catch and fling back through the air.
I must say, I have enjoyed listening
to the tales of aroma and ice cream and  ***kissing***
so let's not let this end just yet,
we're having too much fun to just let it quit!
