As my memory walks the grave yard of loves lost.
Paying the price.
Knowing the cost.

Tried too hard, not hard enough.
Not the right time.
Not the right stuff.

The memory marker of you stands above.
As the tombstone marks my dad's grave.
And I carry the torch for both the ghosts I loved.

Both equally loved in a way, only dad knew.
This year I put 2 flowers on my dads' grave.
A yellow for him, a red for you.

If I can't talk to you here, I will talk to you there.
Because dad will understand.
Only my dad will know how I care.

And I love you, I love you still.
If my dad can't hear me calling you.
Who will?

And my only hope is you go after me.
Please God fill that wish.
Because I wouldn't want to visit that cemetary.

And I love and miss you still.
And if I can't talk to you here,
Then there, if I must, I will.
