children laughing
laughing in my eyes
eyes I use to feel the glow
glow that hides my disguise
disguise that covers my face
face my fear
fear of death
death in me
me laughing
laughing in my eyes

 There is something inside me
and I know it's good,
but understanding is misunderstood.

I like the way you use the last word of each line as the first word of the next line and how it blends together!

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was just a little poetic experiment.

Very lovely. What a sad & true thing it is, yet i tend to do it all the time. Eyes are the windows to our souls & you see truth. But I as I look off & ponder, I lie every day.

Um, obviously you were listening to way too much "They Might Be Gaints" when you wrote this one. Very odd.
