The Messengers of God

Through silence of dark and murk
In ties that bind  mortal with the immortal
In the gift of love, is the Dove's work
Co-excisting on Earth's Plain that we must share

There names and spirit faces, I know not
Only delighting in the spell of radiant beauty
Many generations, of this great creation have repetitively sought
To seek out these invisible helpers from the City of David

In brightly lit hues, of hearts fire red
They descend from winter white tunnel
Created from ashes and dust, we are awakened from our bed
In a sea of blues and greens, the Arch Angels have come

These heavenly hosts, the Sons of God
Hold the melody of our prayers
Entrust in thee and you will see
That these are the messengers
The messengers of God

Why, hello, Marina. Long time no see.
I like this one. Great message in it.

Will gladly reap what we may sow--
I am there for you ...
and you're there for me ...
Are you waiting for

See me where I stand I am

Marina,
Very good!  I like the tone and the mood of this one.  Gives us a light of hope.  I loved reading your poem.

This is the very first poem I had ever written.  I only posted it to show a friend who had never seen it.  I would like to say my skills as a so called "poet" have improved since, however I believe my progress may be a little slow.  I can say however....that I certainly do enjoy writing poetry and I am always grateful for the support and compliments you all have always shown me.
Thank you to everyone for your posts.

Marina

Being your first poem its charmed, and it was a excellent start. I think it sorta set your style very well. Nice to read it again.

James...charmed?  I believe that is word associated with witchcraft isn't it??? But I do thank you for your compliment.

James, thank you as always.  I always look forward to your post.
