The God of heat crawled into my slumber, leaving me cold and alone. Words of wisdom dropped on my doorstep left me speechless and without a home. All of the money I left in the bank could not buy a single gladness. Every soul I touched on the way, swims upstream in rivers of sadness. My dreams for tomorrow new and alive wake me in a trembling fright. Walking away from all that is wrong left me wondering what might be right. Grant that I may not judge my niegbor until I have walked a mile in his moccasians Native American prayer |

and we dont know what we got till its gone... the grass is always greener on the other side... but when its ours...then its just lawn. very cool poem C,..and oh so true... sometimes everything seems like a contradiction. you used cool terms in this... unique poem...sweetly sad as well. always sweet to have you posting.*smile* ~as always, Take Care,JM~ -------------- I know it's been a long road To get these towns behind me and I Will gladly reap what we may sow-- I am there for you ... and you're there for me ... Are you waiting for Heart in hand Woman and man See me where I stand I am Heart Heart in hand ~vertical horizon~ |

Hi Christie, This is wonderful, sad but you show much wisdom and that is what we need for the world is so full of contradictions. Thank you for sharing, Cerenity |

Very nice. I enjoyed the read thanks for posting it. There is something inside me and I know it's good, but understanding is misunderstood. |
