He loves her more than life itself
He loves her more than any wealth
He loves her always
With all of his gentle heart
And he always has, right from the start
Though they are alike in many ways
They are different enough to fill the days
She will always be the one that her loves
Her heart alone he holds
At night he dreams of her alone
Her love is more precious to him than gold

He loves her more than anything on earth
His feelings for her are of very great worth
He loves her always
With honor, respect, and love
Like an angel sent from up above
Though there will be times he will not say
The right things on certain days
He knows her heart is tender
And that it's been hurt before
He would like to be the mender
With the love he brings to her hearts door

He loves her as he loves himself
He loves her more than life itself
With burning desire and passion
And when his time is done
She will see the depth of his heart
And his love for her will just be beginning to start

*SIGH*
such devotion you write Sweet Sven...
you are the king of romantics...
and you did the "borrowed line"
much justice...
your muse is quite the lucky lady

 ~as always, Take Care,JM~
--------------
I know it's been a long road
To get these towns behind me and I
Will gladly reap what we may sow--
I am there for you ...
and you're there for me ...
Are you waiting for
Heart in hand
Woman and man
See me where I stand I am
Heart
Heart in hand
~vertical horizon~

Thank you. . .

Rosemary, I don't know if this beats all love poems, but thank you. . .

Janet, thanks, and I'm really not the king. . . but I'll settle for being the Knight. . .
