D~
  A lovely sonnet. The quality impressed me. You might consider writing a book of poetry entitled "Beach Poems". If so, be sure to include this one in it!
best regards,

Denise,
     I, too, dream of that far away time when imagination was reality.  My friend TerryW was right.  You are incredible!  I love your poem.  Congratulations on number 10,000, too!

I closed my eyes after reading your poem, and it took me quietly back to windswept beaches and sandcastles of my youth. Thank you so much for the memories.  I've only just begun to interact in the forums, but what a wonderful group of people ... such encouragement and positive thoughts.  Congratulations on your 10,000; you are clearly loved by many (you're quite an inspiration for a newcomer ... I have a loooonnng way to go).

denise - I didn't want to miss this day, and I did, because I was out of town for the weekend...

Congratulations.  Checked it out and saw that you've posted 177 originating posts - 177 times you've shared your soul in either a profound poem or your admirable way of getting out your beliefs.

So aside from those 177 times, the rest of it comes from your interaction with all of us here.  I always look forward to see if denise has read one of my pieces...many of us do...for you always have kind and thoughtful things to say.  You don't just post "good job"...no, you kindly pick out the best of the poems and comment on the CONTENT!

So, with tongue in cheek, I would say "get a life"...but you have one, and you share it well!  Good job, m'dear!

denise, I just came in here to wish you the best, and offer my ten thousand kiss reward.
But I read your sonnet, I love your sonnets, so I guess I have to double it.... twenty thousand kisses to you, fair poet.

Denise,
   That this is your ten thousandth post is quite a distinction, and I must offer my congratulations along with everyone else.   But you know what? This poem you've gifted us with is absolutely enchanting! Loved it through and through. Thank you!

~~~Don't forget, when you get to 100,000 posts you get a free basket of fruit!
I remember that you were the first person to respond to my first poem posted. Thanks for that response and Congratulations on being the Grandest of Passion Poets!
Thank you, Sunshine (you were one of the first to make me feel welcome when I first came here...I'll never forget that), Corazon, (how many 'yous' are there? I'm only sure of one other...come on, give me a hint! I love guessing games!), Effigy (I never get tired of it!), Parker (thanks for all those kisses!), Claire (thanks, I'm so glad that you thought it enchanting, that's what I was aiming for) and Danny (do I have to wait that long for a fruit basket?...hehe). You all make me feel so special. Thanks again!
Dee,
  I don't think the significance of this being your 10,000th post should diminish what a beautiful sonnet you have created. We all would love to return to the joys and recklesness of our youth and you have captured these emotions perfectly. Wonderful!
