Life lived
Behind eyes innocent.
Life lived
Behind skin unsoiled.
Happiness found in lies masked as truth,
The world laid out in fools gold.

The cloth covering the darkness,
The shelter from reality,
Torn away in a breaths moment,
Blinded by the darkness that’s shed by reality's light.
Yet love leads by a light unyielding…
A path never misleading…
For innocence driven from our eyes
From our touch, from our voice,
May always find refuge
In the fortress of our heart,

The place where innocence is born
