Thank you(For Liz) Words woven in to a web of emotion, Lines flowing gently into verse. Stories painted by the pen of a poet, Without whom life would be so much worse. Images dance delightfully before my eyes, As my soul floats on clouds of pleasure. Your poem skipping gracefully across a page Is a joy I cannot measure. Exquisite rhyme satiates my being, Blissful serenity soon follows. Your words captivate my imagination, Feeling no longer seems hollow. Inspiration caresses my heart As wisdom is gently imparted upon me. All this and more I find In reading your lovely poetry. ----------------------------------------------------- Liz, this is a humble attempt to thank you for the two poems you have written me and also to express heartfelt appreciation of all your beautiful poetry. Dearest Lizzie, You have warmed my heart beyond measure with this absolutely beautiful verse. I happened onto page 2 and spotted it (whew)where it must have slipped while I was cooking dinner. The poem is a beauty and straight from the heart. You do write so well, and I am so honored and proud of this wonderful poem I don't know how to thank you, but It will remain in my book of treasured poems forever Love you Liz |
