She saw spider lines
of light
  the jewels of a city
over the sea
    and the plane
      crash landed with
the bang of her joy

she was there
         in a land
   of strange familiarity

        ~ ~ ~

and it was
  instant
recognition
   she had known
     this soul for years
though only seconds
had passed
a lifetime of
    friendship has
begun

       ~ ~ ~

she sees a spill
of waves
  on a foreign shore
trees of eucalyptus
and gum
birds so bright
they blind the eyes

but though the earth
  is different she is home
with the sister of her soul

         ~ ~ ~

now new days
    of laughter fill the air
the sea breeze captures
       memories
and gently places them
   in the album of
her mind

only days are
   left before her
  soul sister
heads back
    over the shore

And the poem? It is outstanding!
Love you both

this is SO COOL that you guys get to meet!!
very cool!!
and this poem is perfect and beautiful.
ENJOY!!
take care jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

An awesome display of friendship and how the internet can bring souls together.  I'm so happy for you both and hope to one day read the poetry of two very old women who reamained together as sisters of the soul.  A beautiful peice from you both that would not be the same if only one had written!!

 Hold me for yesterday
Kiss me for tomorrow
But love me for today.
