I've got writer's block,
and I don't know what to do.
My words aren't really rhyming,
and I sorta feel like poo. (LOL, this is bad..)

Nothing much is going on,
in my sad pathetic life.
Darn, I'm stuck again....
what's causing all this strife?

Geez, this is worse,
than I thought it could be.
Does anyone have any suggestions,
they'd like to share with me?

Seriously, I'm on a major block here...I haven't written anything for days.  My love life's not interesting anymore, and my mind is in a haze.
If anyone has words of advice, or maybe a challenge to give, I would take them in an instant, without writing I shall not live!

much thanks!

LOL Skittles, we have all been there
for writers block -

So here you go.

What happened to my love life
that it isn't interesting anymore
Wasn't it yesterday - our hearts
were soaring high?  What went wrong,
is passion gone, or did I just
pick the wrong person to fall in love.

THERE is a hefty mess for you to work
on

Good luck

Keep on writing,

Oh, you poor thing Skittles,
There isn't too much you can do,
When the muse just isn't talking,
And your rhyming makes you blue.

When your pages all are smudged
And all your pencils chewed,
What you need's a new perspective,
A glimpse of life renewed.

So get out into that wide wide world,
Climb a hill or two,
Learn to sing and laugh again,
Your poetry's not poo!

I've never done one of these before... and I must say it was a lot of fun. I'm still smiling.   Take care.

Everyone here has done this before
You've gotten some advice, so here's some more

You say your poetry doesn't rhyme...
But does it have to?
Many times I can just start writing
And a beautiful poem appears
With no rhyming words at all...
Not that I have a problem with structure
But free-form always cures my writer's block

Free-form....

FREEDOM!

Try it sometime!

So off with the hats
and off with the brains
lets settle on something
how be it the same.
So let's show some feeling
maybe even  a sigh
So we will be sharing
yet even a stare.

Don't worry skittles, your poem doesn't frizzle, just add a wee bit sizzle .........
and so you must pencil your words from the heart.

Oh, piddle-dee-doo
Chicky Poo.
Your muse hasn't given
up on you !

Wait until the night
when you're trying to count sheep,
and the little darling
won't let you sleep.

You'll turn,
you'll toss,
she'll continue to boss.
With all those rhymes
she will chime
You won't believe
what she has up her sleeve.
When you think it's done,
she's just starting her fun.
She won't give you rest
'til you've written your best.
Then in time
you will write
and pass the night
penning
and grinning.

*This is just TOO MUCH FUN !
