She blew me a kiss (part Two)

Although she physically flew away
A part of her was left to stay.
Her essence left a gist so bright,
It goes to sleep with me at night.

She whispers in the dark to me,
And always colors what I see.
She disappears each brake of dawn,
And I can't wait, the night reborn.

The breath of flowers left in air,
Leaves flavor and her nectar  there.
Each touch of petals fragile thin,
Reminds me of her velvet skin.

And when she calls me on the phone,
It drives away the beast alone.
And I am calm and full of sigh,
But all my feelings magnify.

It's then, I wish upon a star
And curse the distance of the far.

Seymour, your part two is in direct parallel to a part two of my own...how did you do that??

Beautiful, fragrant words.

**Sigh** I'm swept away once again....beautiful writing!

 Hold me for yesterday
Kiss me for tomorrow
But love me for today.

Wow, these were a beautiful couple of poems. They really touched me.

She may know about that part too, for she took it with her as she flew....

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.
