State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-04-23 05:48 AM

Do you know how much I love you?
Do you know how much I care?
Do you know just what it does to me
when I see you standing there?

Can you feel the pain I'm feeling
when I look into your eyes?
Cause you told me that you meant it
when you said you'd never say good-bye

Was it all just a game?
Did I mean anything?
Am I just another fool?
Did you even care for me?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Janet, I owe this one to you. Thank you a hundred times over.
All my love,
Jeffrey
perfect poem,
take care kind sir,
jm
 Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.
So many questions, and it's so hard to try and not ask them...I can feel your frustration in this...Argh!  Very nice piece, I felt I was reading your heart...
I want to thank you all for your kind word, however this is not an issue in my life. I am a happily married man with 2 wonderful children.
Janet's post just brought back some memories and that is where this piece was hidden.
All my love,
Jeffrey
Sorry guys...I brought this back up for a friend whom is thinking of joining us here at passions. Any encouragement to them would be appreciated. Let's show them how close this "family" is, ok?
All my love,
Jeffrey
Glad you brought it back up, Jeffrey... it's such a beautiful poem! I hope your friend decides to join Passions! I know it was one of the best decisions that I ever made!
Jeffrey I'm glad to hear you are happily married...so I know that you are not experiencing these feelings for something going on in your life right now.  Thats what life is all about...happiness.   All these questions reminded me of that old Elvis song....as he said down at the end of lonely street is the Hearbreak Hotel.  These are questions we have all ask at some time in our lives.   I enjoyed reading this poem...James
Very nice, I was hesitant at first myself,
but then The people here at passions welcomed
me with open arms and enourged me to keep
writing. So I just decided to take the
plunge, come on in, and test the waters. What
do you got to lose?
