A Time for Us

Silently waiting among Orion's arm
Pleiades whispers of cloaked desires
Giant Betelgeuse guards celestial karma
Waxen wings flutter with heart songs

Polaris listens to songs from Spica
Pleiades sends warming melodies
The deep night melts with want
Wings dissolve in heated rapture

Celestial clock ticks toward infinity
Polaris waits for Pleiades tonight
The night stretches beyond millenium
Tomorrow's symphony sings, a time for us.

May I wish upon this falling star?
I promise not to wish too hard...

Thank you, from one star-gazer to another...

Wow, Parker, I was sure glad when
I found some words I recognized. hehe

What a lovely star struck poem.
And well written I will add.

As, I put the poem down and start
singing  "A time for us, some day
there'll be, a new world..."

WOW...Parker this is exquisite...
you MUST be feeling better(smile)
and the nite sky in canada MUST be
something to behold. This poem surely is.
just beautiful Parker-man.
Happy Earth Day my poetic friend,
jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

And behold the constellation Taurus, for in May 2000, five planets and the sun will align. Predictions of astrologists read that many changes to earth will come.

Lovely piece, in response to Icarus, perhaps?

serenity, star-gazing can be very warming, thank you for replying.

netswan, thank you I tried to avoid the dictionary, but I still had to use a star book.

Janet Marie, thank you, had a desire to write, something I read nodoubt, still sick though, thanks for asking. Just like where you are we need to be out in the country for a good look.

Corinne, perhaps!
I didn't know what month that event was going to take place. Some fear bad changes  due to the horrific tidal forces. Lets hope its just an interesting site.
Thanks you.......

Marina, thank you.

Happy Earth Day everyone.

A Romantic Heart, oh what a tease you are. lol making me wait.

Go0fYdUcK, they are just names of stars  close to the Orion arm of stars in the sky.
Except for Polaris that's the norther star.
nothing special just an interest, I learned it when I was in public school for myself. They don't teach much astronomy in school ever.

Corinne, just give me some more of your sweet inspiration. Something Irish maybe.
