State of constant confusion!

The muddy river Jordan
In a land called Jerusalem
It seems so long ago
and far away

But I wish I'd been there
standing in the sun
When John baptized Jesus
on that day

That old water might look muddy
from the outside
But when you're standing in it
it's so clear

Cause you look back
and you realize
That our Lord Jesus Christ
was baptized here

Many times I've read in my bible
about that great event
Oh, but to see the one
who was heaven sent

And to those of you who don't believe
what happened on that day
When I cross the chilly Jordan
this is what I'll say

That old water might look muddy
from the outside
But when you're standing in it
it's so clear

Cause you look back
and you realize
That our Lord Jesus Christ
was baptized here

This was written in song format. Tell me what you think.

I think it sings a beautiful message for us all, Jeffrey.  God bless you, my friend and Happy Easter.

Dear Jeff,
What a wonderful journey you have written about. The message does look muddy also, until we except Jesus as our Lord. THEN EVERTHING GETS CLEAR THAT YOU DIDN'T SEE BEFORE. Things get clear that we didn't understand before, because the mud is washed away. Great poem Jeff. Keep them coming. I could feel the rythem.
Love,
Erie

I enjoyed reading this and Jesus did say he is the way, the truth, and the life.  James

Song format?  Yeah, I guess I see it now... I was so captured by the message that I didn't realize how well it flowed!

Great work!
