A Glimpse Of Tomorrow

I closed my eyes
And I foresaw tomorrow
All that man has dreamed and hoped
Came to a vision of sorrow

I tried to see my home
But my home I couldn't see
Cause it had been burned
For all the sin that was in me

I was afflicted
I didn't knew what to do
I tried to look inside my heart
And see if this was really true

But it was just a dream
Finally sense came back to me
I saw myself in another world
In a way I didn't want to be

The clock is ticking
And to change is the only way to save
We must give up our pride!
We must be strong , We must be brave!

"Only in the dreams , is that man can truly be free
It was always thus and always thus will be"

LR, nice writing.  Good response to the challenge.

perfect..words of truth and wisdom in this...
thanks for joining the cause and helping spread the word!
take care, jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.
