A Tick Who Wanted To Have A Feast

A tick who wanted to have a feast
crawling upon my pants clad leg
I looked down and saw him there
nearly had a coronary as I stared.

Next came the calm call for help
think I would remove this creature
crawling over me like an invader?
No, that's what husbands are for.

Now I sit here paranoid wondering
where's the next one gonna be?
Is that the tingle I feel on my neck,
or is my imagination playing tricks?

I have never had a tick crawling on me (that I know of) but I can relate to the feeling. Good job Gloria.

Marilyn: Thank you for reading, I was not to happy seeing him crawling on me but a least he was not feasting yet, and never got there my husband crushed him to death, for once the crunch sounded delightful...LOL

I grew up on a farm... and running to someone for help would have meant leaving important activities like climbing trees or watching clouds or chasing dragonflies... so I learned early on to take care of those problems myself... *G* (just as well since husband help isn't an option! LOL) Enjoyed!!!

Doreen: ROTFLMAO, I want to put LOL after that husband line, but it would have looked stupid but it was meant to be funny, Thanks for reading and enjoying.

Denise: Thanks, I hope the cat does not bring any more in.

Suthern: Thanks for reading, glad you enjoyed. I was lucky my husband was in the other room so I very calm and softly called him to come get it off, otherwise I would have done the duty myself and would have been quite freaked out...LOL
