My Heart Speaks The Simple Truth Does Yours

The truth of the matter is
this soul does not lie,
I give up my offerings to you
but you turn tail and
hide.

I’ve laid out in front of you
all my secrets to plainly
see, but with blinders on, you
continue to run away
from me.

What is it about love that
scares you so, why
do you insist on fleeing from
me, when the truth you
can plainly see.

Is the commitment or longevity
what you do not desire,
or is it that you can not return
to me that in which
I offer to you simply just all of me.

I do not ask of you that much,
for I do understand
love is a weighty matter, and to
be taken slowly and at
a gradual pace.

You made promises to me in
what I thought was
good faith, did you speak from
your heart or was
I blind to the simple lines.

I give you now this chance to show
me what it is that you
want and need, but please just
speak your truths from
your heart and clearly for
me to see.

Well I have to laugh this was one of those moments that you go back in time and think of someone you could of died for and still have feelings for them (a tiny bit of feelings), but now that I have half a brain I understand what happend and am very glad that it did not work out.
