Never

Never did such succulence exude
From written word
Never has a sweeter song poured forth
From twittering bird
Never have more dulcet tunes danced
Round the willow tree
Never had a poet written words
For only me

Never again would calming sea spin fast
To giant swells
Never would clear water flow more brisk
From mountain wells
Never would the swallow fly more swiftly
Through the breeze
Never again would poetry quick
bring me to my knees

Never again would Milkey Way drift down
From skies above
And blanket me entirely with blissful
Warmth and love
Never would I drift again in
Heaven’s sparkling sea
Nothing is more beautious than the
Verse he wrote for me

Rainbow,
I'd love to float on cloud 9 with you. I've got lots of things i'd love to talk to you about. Any chance you could hop on a cloud some day and come over here to the States? or am I asking for too much fun?
Love ya

How charming, how sweet, how downright romantic!  You're charmed, dear one!

Liz, it must have been some poem to inspire this! Good job.

It is one of the best feelings, when someone gifts us with something from the heart.  Glad you received such a Powerful Gift. Wonderful Poem.

Never say never when
it comes to poetry
for a poet never runs out
of poetic magesty
and one poem so perfect
that it brings you to your knees
just means another one
is waiting you to please.

What a beauiful poem you have written, Liz---so romantic and lovely.

Exquisite poem!

You have gathered all my deepest emotions about my husband's writings about me, and carefully tucked them into a picnic basket for us to carry out to the woodlands and enjoy together.

Rosemary had to bring this to my attention. Sure am glad, there's so much here to keep up on and I thought to say everything everybody else has already said... Lis your truly wonderful and you can know that and yours are on our prayer list. May God always bless.
