I don't know if I even did this correct, but thought I could do two challenges at once. Hope its meaningful.

Child Abuse

Child crying, caveat carnality
Habituated hurting, Hushed
Idle Inaction, Ignominious illusion
Lamb lost, Love lethargic lifeless
Darlings Damned, defiled defenseless

Abuse allowance, adulterated act
Beloved betrayal, Bane bearable blemish
Unfeeling unclean, unvoiced ululation unending
Scarred silhouette, stolen sweetness suicidal
Emotional eidolon ejected, Elan elation embark

very meaninful and perfect Parker...
your compassionate heart is showing, (again)
*smile*...
great job on both challeges...my, you are most inspired of late...and always for a good cause...
take care, jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

WOW! James, is a wonderful 2 in 1 poem.  It takes great poetic talent to make this flow so easily and still have a very strong meaning.  One of your best. You know how much this cause means to me, so thank you for contributing your talents to it.  When we stand together, we are strong. Thank you.

Parker,
All that work that you did on this
piece, is worth every effort you put
into it and more.  This was a fantastic
read.

Thanks for this.

And, a challenge - well met, again.

Marina, thank you again, and for the challenge, but I don't recommend doing the Acrostic Alliteration stuff, nightmare time,
when I started, I was thinking of being a real smart-ass and doing it in a strict Haiku
format... that idea soon got tossed out the window after the first line.

netswan, thank you, if it wasn't for the child abuse challenge I would have given up on the alliteration stuff, too much work.

Butterflies, your always too kind in your comments to me. thank you again.
