Reverie

I'm thinking to myself
When  I have a reverie
It shows me what I am
And all I want to be

I close my eyes
And I start having a dream
But there comes another one
Following the stream

Once I dreamt of love
Of tears , of joy
I felt that all my life
I was too much coy

On my best dreams
Courage is a bliss
But in my heart
All I wanted was a kiss

Only in the dreams
Is that I can truly be free
It was always thus
And always thus will be

"Only in the dreams , is that man can truly be free
It was always thus and always thus will be"

Lone Ranger -- such an insightful poem.
More people need to do a self analogy
and know themselves so well.

Well Written - and thanks for sharing!

Thank you Mike & Netswan!
That one really came from the heart , as all others...
And I think that everyone should do a self analogy from time to time they might find out things they never thought the knew...

Depth and truth filled so well in your words here....Well done

A man does not love a woman because she is beautiful...But she is beautiful because he loves her.
