I took a reprieve and it was just DEVINA...er devine
And now I know it wasn't wasted
I met a FEMME FATALE, er a woman sublime
And in my memory it's pasted.
I sat down DSNYDER...er beside her
And thought to pitch some woo.
She told me in so many words "never"
And that she didn't give a HOOT (OWL RN)
So I journey to SUTHERN, er to the South
To see what I could find there.
And JANET MARIE was most nice to me
And the SUNSHINE was always bright there.
So I went to the MARINA and saw a great ship
The ELIZABETH SANTOS was its' name.
And then in the MEADOW I MUSED at my slip,
In the IRISH ROSEs I'd wrote my fame.

RSE, this was really creative.  Some very nice places you visited.

Janet Marie is MOST complimented and thanks you for making her smile today...and she is most honored to be in the company of such an esteemed group of poets...
and GEN TOO LOLOLOL( sorry, couldnt resist)
thank you kind sir...
take care, jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

RSE - so very surprised
that before my eyes
my name appears,
and I ne'er even thought
you ever peeked in.

Quite cute - and thank you!
