The night we had to say good-bye
I sat across from you wondering why
I never thought it'd come to this
In the beginning we shared such bliss

There was no clue to catch a glimpse
That today there'd be a total eclipse
And blackness would abound
From the sky to the ground

I hope I find a way out of this mess
My love for you I must confess
Runs as deep as the ocean
As our bodies become one in a continuous motion

Two hearts beating in time
This could be our prime
Maybe it's too late
To challenge the hand of fate

Perhaps this decision
Needs a little revision
Before things get out of hand
Give our love a chance to stand

You could be in for a treat
We can create intense heat
Two bodies ignite a spark
It is no longer dark

LoneWolf~
Now this is a profound thought ...

'Perhaps this decision
Needs a little revision'

I liked.

Thank you very much.  Guess I was having some second thoughts there.  Glad you liked it.

LW, this seems to be written with much emotion. Hope it is not a serious situation in your life.
Good writing as always.
