I write now in sweet memory
Of the person you used to be.
Once called upon you as a friend.
But now we have reached a bitter end.
That person I knew must have died.
And oh my god how I have cried.
Now I say goodbye to you my dear
I hope only that my voice will reach your ear.

You treated me like a clown.
You tried to keep me down.
You keep my eyes sowed tight
so that I couldn’t see you with my own sight.

Now there has come a day
Where I might truly say.
There must be a great switch
For I see now,
that you’re but a lonely bitch.

I don’t need you anymore.
No more keeping me down
No more keeping me sore.
I don’t see your disapproving frown.

I miss who you were everyday.
When people ask that know.
All that I can bring myself to say,
Is that you passed away some time ago.

This must have brought you some relief, in the writing, Effigy ...
A big hurt when someone we considered a friend, betray us ....
