*  Beauty of the Lady so blue *
~~~~~
Alone she waits in darkness void
as most misunderstand her -
They say she has no dignity,
spit on & reprimand her.
But ever quiet, there she sits
ignoring all their wrong -
Because she knows that deep inside,
she's dignified & strong...
She's always stood much taller
and she's always stood her ground -
She believes that somewhere in the void,
true fairy-tales are found.
Dreams are spun - and love is woven
~ intricate & blue ~
Within this Lady's soul so deep,
known unto none, but you.
Alas, she waits upon the shelf
so fragile, yet so strong -
She doesn't hear the words they speak,
forgives them - for they're wrong...
Judge her not because her laughter
helps her overcome great pain -
She is waiting for her fairy-tale
and there, she will remain.
So few believe in fairy-tales
or tapestries of love -
But this Lady dreams of deepest blue,
and weaves with silk thereof...
 Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.
Of course I have you Robert!  You are family - that's the one thing I know I can count on when friends or lovers fail me...You're one of two people I lean on nowadays for my sanity!  LOL  I thank you for that.  You share 50% of my burdens!
Janet Marie - - You snuck in there on me!  You know me quite well my dear.  I say, we should challenge eachother to a poem titled just that..."Tears of a Clown", for we both know oh too well, what those are, and how they fall.  Are you up for it?  I know you can do it !!
Femme, keep weaving those fairy tales, for the magic is in the believing, that dreams do come true, even for a Lady of Blue.
A deep truth is spoken in this poem Femme. Those who wait for perfection are going to be waiting for a very long time. Well done
Indeed, all facets of "blue" are sewn into this.  Quites a seamstress you are.     The intricacies of your tapestry continue to amaze me.  You know the wonderful thing about writng your own faitytale? - You can make your own happy ending...
And what's with this whole "self-ostracization" thing, huh? When did we stop loving you??? Hmmm, (I mean besides me troll girl?) You've painted a picture blue, but it need not be the blue of sadness, rather perhaps, the blue of freedom, as unto the sky.
Hey, you want to write your own fairy tale?  Well, then my friend, pick up the pen of life and write away!!
Dreams can come true
Fairy tales too
It all begins with us
But first we have to trust
Trust ourselves in our heart
That's really the hardest part
But once the loom is set to weave
All we have to do, is just believe. . .
"Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry, and just see how many people hand you a Kleenex!"
Wonderful poem, Lady Blue. ..
Danny - LOL @ you being president!  Thank you for all your reassurance too, BTW.
Mistikman - Not perfection sir, I just know what I want, and I do have patience enough to wait for it.
Michael - Yeah....sure...unless a big huge scaley, green dragon comes along, and gobbles up some of the characters, including the prince!  LOL
Christopher - Just purging sir, in my own "blue" way...I like to say "soul-researching"...and "reassurancing".  *curtsies to the T-boy*
Sven - I loved your warm addition, you almost made me cry with it!  Thank you!
WhiteNite - ROFL at you!  You're kind of new here, aren't you?     'Tis okay...like I said, I have patience...lots of it.  LOL  Need a map?  Oh, never mind, you're a man.
serenity - *curtsies*  Thank you so much - that means alot to me, girl.
I appreciate all of your replies...an FYI...I've grown tired of worrying about others opinions of me, especially those who don't even care for me.  I like who I am, I KNOW who I am, and I know what I want, and I will wait for it, regardless.  Such is life!
