Take my hand and sail with me,
...upon love's passion ship,
Let me taste of satin lips,
...from forth thou fountain sip,
As I hold thee in mine arms,
...I touch upon night's sky,
And sail the seas of all I dream,
...Whence thee I do espy,
I feel cool winds off ocean waves,
...soft kiss upon mine cheek,
Whence I hear sweet voice of Rose,
...of thee of whom I seek,
I feel the warmth of beating heart,
...when on ships prow we stand,
As I gaze on satin bloom,
...and hold thee in mine hand,
A' sail alone forevermore,
...we'll sail to distant star,
With Luna's glow our guiding light,
...to lead us from afar,
O' tarry not on rocky shore,
...come sail to welkin blue,
To feel the depth of my desire,
...mine love I pledge to you.

"Let me taste of satin lips,

You do have a way with words...all of them.

Mike, the ship you sail rides so smooth that the rose holds its bloom...This is lovely!

Nice Mike...interesting meter and rhyme...you can almost take every other sentence and make a seperate poem of each half...Good work.

oh man...big ole *SIGH*

Im so glad I didnt miss this one...
I do beleive you have a new fan sir...
exquisite poem Mike.
take care, jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.
