I pressed my face against
   the cold hard glass
I watched my breath
   dance across the window
I placed my hand upon the pane
robbing the warmth from my fingers
I longed to melt into the outside
   flowing through the cold hardness
to breathe in the chilled night air
   filling every empty space

This is lovely...such descriptive phrasing!

"I watched my breath
   dance across the window
I placed my hand upon the pane
robbing the warmth from my fingers"

Succinct, superb writing.

'tis a solemn song, I don't know why I do it so often. Reality is so clever.

This has an allure that
drew me to read it thrice.
