I looked at him

Who wanted to be my friend

Let him release his stress

After dumping his anger,

Love,  jealously and resentment

He was empty now....

Wanting to control my behavior

Make his views my views

I told him I agreed to disagree

I didn't care what others thought

Or said about me in judgment

They're opinion doesn't mean

I am  who they believe me to be.

I am only accountable to God

He is the only one that knows

My mind,  heart, and spirit.

He knows the purity of my Heart

He made me this way.

I praise him for giving me the

The fruits of the spirit

my song on the Christian way of life

Smiles. For some reason, it seems that I read your poem twice, but, hey, any good poem deserves at least a second reading.

In your poem, I really liked how you expressed that you held true to your beliefs, your Faith, and to who you are as a Christian.

Thank You Bob for your kindness. I typed it last night when my back was out. When I get over tired I make mistakes due to my health problems.
songbird was trying to show me how to cut and paste and I guess I did it all right. Smiles

Thank you Bob I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. You fixed that mess I made last night. I am not to excited about that poem. Thank you Joyce for Posting. I guess I will let others be the judge. I also think I posted some poems in the wrong places.
