Why is my love a cold torture chamber?
Will time soon tell me why I am waiting?
Will I soon find her knocking on my door?
Will she soon tell me she’s been wanting more?
She’d rather forfeit love to save anger
From a boy who works on wood and hating
His cries for a life without her embrace
So she feels must defend her young love
From the slings and arrows of immense fates
Would she know doubtlessly from my cold face?
My heart is broken and dances above
Deeply in rest in black view as it waits
Love is my no-man’s-land and so I die
Living my life with her one the outside
