Swirling Sisterly Memories ~*Marge Tindal*~ ~*~ Sisterly memories swirl Twirling you upon the heartstrings of my heart Dancing memories of when you were here within my reach and we laughed Fond embrace of happy times Missing precious moments of your laughter, the trinkets in a box, the letters with one page and that darned always extra line before you figured out that you'd said all there was to say then tucked it in an envelope to post it to me Treasured now they are,the extra lines a birthday reminder of the smiles you left me to find on days such as this Happy Birthday, sister Shari~ I miss you so much *In memory of Shari Cowart Ricker March 8, 1944 - October 7, 1999 **Reposting because I am surrounded by her memories** ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Marge, I have read a few of your other poems about Shari, and I don't remember if I have seen this one in the past. But after reading it, I feel that I have gotten to know Shari a little bit through your memories of her. You made her seem so real. Marge, this is just incredbly loving. I am amazed at your ability to create form poetry like this one is... so perfect and it swirls with color as well as heartfelt remembrances. I am sorry your sister has passed. What caught my eye about your tributes was her name--Shari. It is also my daughter's name. I wish you peace on a spirit level and memories without grief. Friends~ I thank each of you for your kind replies~ Shari is missed in so many ways ... by sisters, brother and four children~ It's sometimes difficult to imagine our days without her here ... yet we know she left some wonderful memories that give us smiles-of-tender-remember~  May the God-of-your-knowing bless you all for being so kind to me~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
