Incandescent glow
Drifting lantern caught
Clock or fulcrum unknown
A twisting sensuality
Has meant everything

Time woke me with its silence
To the mute drumbeat of today
Add the silence of a waterfall parted
My heart joins the procession
Its silence speaks for me

The memories
These remembered days of mine
They lumber through the streets
To be caught in this alley,
Sorrow

I’m quite lost in this room
With borders made of rain
Everywhere I see hopes etched
A tracing of fingers
To write tomorrow in dust

Is the melted sculpture art
An abstract meaning caught perpendicularly
A formless chloroform insinuation
I prefer the texture laden meaning
To this obtuse lack of color
