Oh so delicate the touch
Gently feeling for the spot
Sneaking past my outer guard
Trickling; not yet hot

Oozing past my inhibitions
Reaching very deep
Quietly is spreading out
Into my veins now seeps

Unconscious of its machinations
Mood begins to swing
Something’s changed and rearranged
I didn’t feel a thing

Music that was beautiful
Takes on an ugly sound
Temptation like a rattlers bite
As I look around

Coiled inside; relentless
Effortless it climbs
Rage is near upon me
Feeling is sublime
