Seeing you sitting there, Across the couch, A feet or two away, But this moment has been- Months in waiting, Pulling you towards me, Gently holding you Limbs like flowers, Filling my rigid fingers, So soft a touch- That I am given today, As you breath meets mine, My eyes shy away, Sees only you now, And the rest is stop- Frozen in time, Staring down your eyes, As if who is to make the move, Your lips, now at their- Full breadth, Mine, quivering to draw near, My lips part, And eyelids close up, A moment of romance, Is about to unfurl, The beating resumes, To a more wild tone, The first touch, Sends down a chill, A flame that was kindling, Now makes room for the fire, From this point on, I hang in a trance, Knowing the desire of one love, Is now fulfilled with a pair of- Sugar filled lips. I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |
