I’m not happy and u’re not either

So y do we keep pretending
We’ve been back and forth too many times
The same wheels keep spinning

I’m tired of faking my feelings 4 u
How can u enjoy whats not real
Pretentious feelings, a cheaters hearts and premeditated thoughts
There’s nothing good about the way I feel

Nevertheless these feelings r tru
The same as they were when we fell n love
What we had is so far gone
Its out of our hands, praying for a miracle from above

I don’t want this to end
There r 2 many memories 2 let go
But u can’t keep trying and I can’t keep lying
When the way we really feel has begun 2 show

It would b easy to blame you
Just as easy to blame myself
I don’t know where we fell apart
But its 2 late to ask 4 help

So don’t think this doesn’t hurt
It’s the hardest thing I’ve had 2 do
I just wish things were the other way around
Instead of falling out of love with you

We’ve said things and done things
Neither have led to anything good
Go on without me
4 get about me like I would

Either way u look at it, anything we try
Its all like melting butter
I blamed you, U blamed me
Its like 6 n 1 hand, half a dozen in the other

Goodbye now its over
There’s nothing left 2 say
There’s no point n broken promises
When u get the same result either way
