Could Be Anywhere...

Buttercup Bride

She awaits, transparent
all looking to the bride
see only God from within.
Her heart is smiling
Spirit glow all about
her radiance is dancing.

She cradles buttercups
gathered this very dawn
flower crown for a princess.
Holy man nodding, waiting
morning sun surrounding
groom slowly approaching.

Surreal, suffused, golden
heather, crystal wings aglow
all singing with morning sun.
Dampness hovers the glen
stillness, then bird song
groom nears heaven, it seems.

Spoken vows of eternity
trembling together as knitted
God turning the two into one.
His creation, His approval, His joy
rejoicing, dancing, celebration!
lips meeting as man and wife.

They kiss...transparent
united they share golden glow
they shine thru and thru.
Hearts beating, smiling together
murmurs of, "thee, thee, thee"
this morn, they are married anew...
