Dear Marge: Turtles are really interesting creatures. My son, took his box turtle outside one time, to play with it, and that was the last we ever saw of it!! It was in Seattle, WA. so hopefully it survived! Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |

aWhen I was small I had a pet tortoise. I loved her very much and had herfor many years. When I was 11 years old, she sadly died in hibernation. I was devastated. In those days they imported them to England, but now things are much tougher which is as it should be. I was pleasantly surprised to see this lovely poem and pic of yours, it brings back sweet memories of a wonderful,gentle and laid-back (slow) creature. Hugs from June xxxxxxx |
