There are some who say she's plain
Not much they say in a narrow way
Small, and sort of round she is
With freckled skin to all displayed

Crooked teeth in front, but white
Legs too short and dimpled knees
No one could argue this, its true
If this were all a man to please

But there is much her critics miss
She's full of wonders not hard to see
The feelings that her presence stir
Are more than beautiful to me

Her eyes so blue, clear liquid ice
Her humor bright and quick, so dear
That knowing smile, that healthy grin
Her gentle whisper in my ear

The way she seems to understand
Just exactly what I need
The way she listens patiently
While my ego she does feed

The way her lips touch mine at night
Those soft arms that hold me tight
Her sweet giving sets my brain afire
No other would ever seem that right

No female anywhere could mean as much
A score of perfect tens won't do
As any man with sense can guess
Precious five I cherish you
