like summered fruit,

where her winds whip fog
into moaning---
	visions of the bay
	stirred into oblivion.

	Here in this place.

Perhaps, now it is sweeter,
warmer---

carves a crease 
	into memory.
 
It does not matter;
the song and scent
are the same.
And the taste remains
strongest in winter, 
here on these streets,
	found clinging to
