A soul berated, with nothing but emptiness to come home to. A pair of lips lost in thier envious search of gentile mate. Eyes have not seen a solitary object of beauty. A mind willfully wandering through wishful fantasies of longing and desire. A tear so alone, it dare not show itself for fear of rejection, not only by its creator, but the societal regime that caused it. A thought of hope that shall never venture out, afraid of the abandonment of kindred spirits. Anger that washes through imagination like a desert famine, robbing it of all creative impulses. And yet somehow, with all the painful agony that constantly roams the streets of my mind, so runs a river of concentrated sunlight that rises from your eyes and sets upon your lips. It fills me with infantile giddy excitement and wanton anxiety of what possible joys you will fill my life with next, just by being here with me. That my love is what is on my mind this second. So please, if you will, pass the promised penny for my thoughts.

such pain mixed with such unyeilding love. i know you don't think i understand but have stood and am still standing in these shoes too. when it is right it is right and it won't matter who thinks what. acceptance comes from you and yours and others will not matter in the long run. keep to your values, be true to yourself, and never ever believe that love is not painful.
