my seasons of love

i met my love
in the cool of fall
fell deeply in love with him
with the sting of summer
married my soulmate
with the warmth of spring
lost my everything
with the bite of winter

i long for the spring
pray he finds the summer
merging back into fall
pushing winter far away

seasons come and seasons go
for everything there is a time
with the visions of you in my night
i can only pray for seasons renewed
