Four Years Before We Met alone crying screaming left alone, tears streaming no pride,self esteem, running down cheeks beaten down again found in floor face down barely breathing not caring all but gone only just went to sleep again woken up stange visions someone in trouble prayer a must, but why me tubes here, tubes there tiny little checks all over can't tell even now is this man or woman son stands over her why mom why don't want to go on just don't want to be here any more man praying at strangest times does not know for who or why just sees a vision of someone with no face and knows there is desperate need they finally come together after 4 year bout she again in desperate need he there to comfort and bring her to peace showing the path to Father God That was four years ago seems maybe i was right same old bull are you praying for me tonight JoAnne Burt 12/02 (all rights reserved) |
