I heard a song the other day,
something about a love to last a lifetime.
It reminded me of how I've come to feel about you.
I think you are the love of my lifetime.

I never believed in destiny or fate,
until I met you...now I'm not so sure.
The simple touch or wink from you
and my knees go weak and I tremble just a little.

In such a short time I've come to realize
I was so very alone, so starved for love.
I never knew it could feel like this....
so intense and giving...tender and sweet.

Never do I want to be alone again,
I always want you here in my life.
Hold on tight my love,
I'll cling to you forever.

"It doesn't matter who you love, or how you love, but that you love" Rod McKuen

Very very sentimental. I still get googly eyes by just reading your poem and by thinking about my true love. Good job. -Bob
