Day arrives on time as usual

Elusive evaporating moments

Gone -- taken -- stolen -- gone

Returning only upon a hologram

Squeeze it tightly and hold

Drain it-- taste it -- be it

See! it's a memory already

File it --did you file it?

Yes, we let so many precious moments go by unnoted.  You saved this one.  Love, Joyce

junemac:  The days pass far too quickly and at night after I go to bed, I wonder what I really accomplished that day!  Not nearly what I had hoped to!  Enjoyed!

Dear June,

I enjoyed this one! Sometimes I awake in the morning and wonder what I did the day before. Other times I remember a fleeting memory of something I had done or seen; perhaps something that would have been more important to hold onto if had I taken the time to "file it".

Love,
Patricia
