My Brothers

Anguish is the voice of my body.
This fire bundle burns within you and me.
Both of us are feeling worn.
As I see you, my brother and sister,
Being swept away in the anger sea-
I can see your angry eyes,
You think the world is of unfair.
I see, I see sorrow in your soul,
And my heart is equally worn,
Not in my suffering,
But in hearing your anguish cry-
A battle of struggling to be sane.
I pray that our Father's tears might wake you in dawn-
Brothers, you have my forgiveness,
For we are both of the same blood,
Blood of Adam, the fallen men.
Though my death is not caused by me,
I will remember you in Christ,
For God's greatest commandment is to love one another.
Though my life is foregone,
I shall remember you in heaven.

Dear Aliza,

To be able to love and forgive is a blessing in spite of the anger of others. Very well written.

Love,
Patricia
